    2. I got a call from and Text msg from my bank stating somebody tried to use my card. so i guess you need to contact your bank and get it sorted out.

  4. I had the same issue on a gift card provided by www.prepaidgiftbalance.com and I only gave that card to Google business and Digital Ocean, so very trustable companies. I strongly believe that PrepaidGiftBalance is responsible for it because the amount taken was exactly what was left on the card (about $500), and who can know that??? The charge is in dispute but PrepaidGiftBalance will take 3 months to make a decision...

    1. They just have to go online or call the number on the back of the card, enter the card number and scrathed-off code, then they can get the balance. They do not need any personal info of yours to get the balance or use. That's why they say to treat activated gift cards like cash.

  5. I just got a message from my bank saying I have -120.00 dollars from Ddr,pur,wm super center and I havent used my card in days

If no one else in your circle has access to the card, kids, partner, close friends/family, etc., then simply call your bank, report the fraud, and they will usually give the money back immediately, then investigate for you. Depends on the bank whether full amount stolen is returned immediately, time limit for investigation, etc.
